Steven M. Adams Greece: With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear friend, loving husband and courageous father. Steven lost his battle with esophageal cancer and went to be with his Lord on July 24th. Steve was a good and faithful servant to the end and was an inspiration to us all. Born in Irondequoit in 1954, Steve spent most of his years in Greece. Always gregarious, Steve has a gift for forming many friendships throughout his school years at Arcadia High School and within the Greece Community. He had passion for service and spent his last years before retirement in Greece School District transportation. Steve touched many lives in a positive way, his strong and humble spirit will always be remembered. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of forty years, Judy; daughters, Jaime (Seth) Kaufman, Jill (James) Thomas; brother, Peter; sisters, Diane & Laurie (John) Countryman; grandchildren, Scarlet, Coleman, Jaysten, Dylan & Joseph. Steve’s visitation will be held (TODAY) Thursday, July 26th 3-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, Greece. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, July 27th 11:00 AM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Rochester Young Life in his memory.   13. Judy, I was shocked when I picked up the paper today and saw this sad news. I have often thought about the two of you over the years since your days at Arcadia. Your days as students were among the brightest memories of those days. Please accept my condolences at this sad time. Steve will always be with you and yours and the two of you will always be young in my mind.

  14. Judy, Mark and I were saddened to read of Steve’s passing. He will always remain special to us as it was Steve who set us up on a blind date in 1995. We have our beautiful daughter Lauren all because of Steve’s matchmaking! He was truly a wonderful man and we hope he is at peace now.
