Greece: Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Predeceased by parents, Arthur E. Koerner and Clara Margarite DeMeyer Koerner; sister, Barbara Ann Vermeire. Survived by her brothers, T.J. (Mary Whittington) Koerner of Atlanta, GA and Matthew A. Koerner, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paula learned her hard work ethic from her parents and working on the family farm. Retired from Kodak Company and GM. She also spent her energy making others feel good, was great at taking care of her parents, and enjoyed being humorous. She helped out at St Lawrence Church and the Greece Historical Society. Paula recently marked her 70th birthday like many during this pandemic awaiting times we can all gather together and share laughter. She will be missed for her good nature and heart of gold.
Her Aunt Marilyn’s care and graciousness was appreciated. She wanted to especially acknowledge all the good people at Unity who respectfully and professionally treat people.
Paula’s graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 220 Coldwater Road, Gates, NY 14624. Tom and Matt, I am so sorry to hear about Paula’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor over the years. She and your Mom were always there for us these last few years. I am sorry that I wasn’t there for her more. Sending prayers and love to you all.

So sorry for your loss. Paula was such a caring person. She sent the most heartfelt notes being in times of trouble or a happy event. She was like her mom in that respect. We were blessed to have her in our life.

Paula was our classmate at Cardinal Mooney High School. In 2019 the Class of 1969 celebrated our 50th reunion. It was such a pleasure to see Paula and share that Mooney spirit once again. Sending heartfelt sympathy and prayers to her friends and family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Paula many years ago from St. John’s. She always had a smile when greeting you. Paula would always ask how everyone was doing. She was a kind and caring lady. She will always be remembered. You will always have your many good memories to carry with you.

I have known Paula for years. We worked for Dr. Palmer and had many good times. We have always kept in touch by quick visits and cards. She has not felt good for a long time, but I never expected to see her picture and notice so soon. I will miss her and our friendship. My sympathy to her family. Vicky Trabold
Paula took computer training with us (Accent Training) when she first left Kodak. We got to know her quite well during that time. Later, she again was a part of our training classes when she worked at GM. Paula was very special person. For a long time, we kept in contact. But, the last few years we lost touch.
