GREECE: Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at age 82. Predeceased by his seven sisters. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carmela Marino (Magnera); children, Lee (Richard) Marinelli (Retired Firefighter), Anthony (Barbara) Marino; Joseph Marino (partner, James Perkowski), Ron (Tammy) Marino; loving sister, Helen Colombo; many loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was a World War II Navy Veteran and a retiree of Xerox. Friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greece Volunteer Ambulance or the Al Sigl Center in his memory.

    his son Joe and of course his partner Jim.
    I had the privlege of meeting him (Joe Sr.) one evening after having an in depth conversation with a bottle of Tequila. Joe (son) said I made him (Sr.) laugh. Of course sailors have always laughed at Marines. Know our thoughts and prayers are with the Marino family at this time.
