Greece: Peacefully, passed into the arms of the Lord with her loving family by her side, Sunday, August 31, 2008 at age 87. Predeceased by her husband, Warren Fox who passed away May of 2006 and her sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor (Joe) Lipczynski. Survived by her children, Steve (Brenda) Fox, Ellen (Bernard III) Beikirch; Donald Fox (Lori & Adrianne); grandchildren, Bernie (Karen) Beikirch, Kimberly (Michael) Reisinger, Rick Fox, Gary Beikirch, Michael Fox & Stacy Fox; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin (Rose) Jagla; sister, Stella Malinowski; many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Karen for several years of extraordinary care and compassion as well as the other special caregivers: Jan, Sherry, Sally and Geri. Thanks to the attentive and caring staff at Crest Manor Nursing Home for their kindness and dedication to Irene over the past year. Friends may call Friday 4-7 PM at Vay- Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golisano Children’s Hospital or the Sisters of Mercy in her memory.

  5. To Don, Ellen & Steve (and families), I am very sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a wonderful Lady. I remember a conversation I had with her in your Shady Way kitchen many, many years ago about hard vs soft water. Weird, huh?
