Genevieve M. Dunn

Rochester: Age 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on March 27, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Vincent P. Dunn; her siblings, Rose Martin, Anthony Martino, & Leonard Martino; lifelong friend, Rita Almy. Beloved mother of Patty Hutchinson of Rochester and David (Mary) Dunn of Massachusetts; beloved grandmother of Jay Hutchinson (fiancé Shana Bernard) of Rochester and Justin Dunn of Washington DC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews on both sides of the family, as well as many wonderful friends, including Louise Woerner of Rochester, whose company, HCR Home Care, provided her so much aid and comfort in her later years. Genevieve's visitation will be held Monday, March 31st, 3-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 1st, 9:30 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford Street. (A reception will follow Mass) Private interment in Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice in her memory.
