Rev. Francis J. Falletta

 

 

Greece:  November 11, 1940-December 20, 2020.  Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Stella [Tornabene] Falletta, and his sister, Marie [Falletta] Kowalczyk. Survived by his brother, Father Joseph A. Falletta, and his sister, Dolores [Falletta] DePetro.

 

Father Falletta was ordained a priest on June 6, 1966, and served in St. Anthony, Elmira, St. Theodore, Gates, St. John of Rochester, Fairport, St. Michael, Newark, and 30 years as pastor of St. Lawrence, Greece, until he was granted senior status on April 26, 2014.

 

Father Falletta will lie in state on Wednesday December 23rd, at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road, Rochester, beginning at 8:30 a.m., until 10:15 a.m.

 

The Most Reverend Salvatore R. Matano, Bishop of Rochester, will preside at the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Those wishing to attend the funeral Mass are kindly asked to RSVP by telephone to the parish office at 723-1350.  Burial will follow in private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Father Falletta’s name may be to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
