Boehmer, Winifred L. Webster: Peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at age 87. Predeceased by her husband John B. Boehmer; daughters, Mary Margaret & Michele Louise; daughter-in-law, Susan Boehmer; brothers & sisters. Survived by her loving children, Christine Prindle, Janine (James) Wheeler, Rosele (David) Watro & Stephen (Kristeen) Boehmer; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sisters; several nieces, nephews, cousins; loving family and dear friends. Winifred enjoyed traveling, boating and spending summers at the 1000 Islands. The family wishes to thank Rochester General Hospital and Monroe Community Hospital Friendship 4 for all the love and care given to her. She will be deeply missed. Winifred’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 30th 12:00 PM at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd., Interment, Holy Sepuchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Auxiliary Monore Community Hospital Friendship 4, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory. Chris, Janine, Rosele and Stephen, I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I remember her well as a neighbor at Sunnybank Park. She and John loved spending time at the river. I hope the support of family and friends will help you get through this difficult time.
