Greece: February 17, 2012. Predeceased by wife, Valerie Wittmer. He is survived by his brothers, Robert Wittmer, James Wittmer & Richard (Carole) Wittmer, several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. His Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, March 3rd, 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Interment held privately.
Billy was a gentle soul. May he rest in peace with his parents sister and twin..but most of all with his Val. Love you Billy
I moved away from Rochester a long time ago, but I have never forgotten the warm welcome that the Wittmer family gave to me any time I showed up at the door. Billy’s kindness and joyful spirit, rare and special, left an indelible impression on me. He never failed to smile. I know he is smiling up in Heaven now, too.
