I grew up living next door to Bill and Irene Ball. They were good neighbors for many years. Bill for the last few years has been living in the house my father built and where we grew up. I always think of them with fondness. My sympanthy to his son Gary and family.

Bill will be remembered as a quiet man, who loved his family and was loved and cared for in return. Often, Gary would take his Dad for a Kubota ride and stop to say hi to us. Bill was an interesting man with many stories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Bill and Irene took me in when I was kid. He took on a father roll for a while. I’d go to work with him in his truck. He was a carpenter and was one of the inspirations behind my becoming self employed. He always had a pool table in the basement. I never saw him play on it, but I sure did. I keep a lot of great memories of Uncle Bill. He was a good man who I’ve always respected and appreciated. David Mattice
