Any time I’d run into Bill was a bright spot in my work day. I admired his sense of responsibility, and the wonderful way he committed whole heartedly to any project he took on, any cause he believed in, or any person he befriended. I am grateful that I had the chance to work with Bill, and to have had the opportunity to see what a special and beautiful person he truly was.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Billy. He passed on my father’s birthday. We grew to love Billy when he, Aunt Eva, and Sue came to live with us in Herkimer. The last time I saw Billy was when he came to my father’s funeral and I was so happy to see him. All my sympathy to you and your family.

I have known Bill for over 10 years. We met when I hired him to be the Manager at the Appellate Court. From that moment we connected as great co-workers and friends and we remained friends to this day. Bill and I got together every month for lunch or coffee. He cared about people, fairness and enjoying life. My son, Matt worked with Bill during his breaks from college and whenever Matt came home Bill, his son Travis, Matt and I would go to the Dinasaur for lunch. Matt was devasted by the news of Bill’s sudden passing. I loved Bill and will miss his smile, his pleasant manner, enthusiam for life, off the wall ideas and most of all his friendship.
