Murphy, William J. Rochester: Thursday, April 23, 2015. Predeceased by his wife, Judith Murphy. Survived by his daughter, Laura (Anthony, Jr.) LaPorta; son, Jeffrey (Leslie) Murphy; grandchildren, Kaylee, Daniel and Victoria; many friends and dear family. Family will receive friends Sunday (April 26th) 1-3 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass and Interment will be held in Brooklyn, NY later this week. Jeff was a great guy, a good cop, and a real friend. He will be missed by all the guys from 34th Street, and Big John’s Knotty Pine. Rest in Peace buddy.
