Ritz, William G. ’Bill’ Gates: Monday, March 21, 2016 at age 69. Predeceased by first wife, Anne Ritz; son, Billy Ritz. Survived by his wife, Pene Ritz; daughter, Doreen (Chris) Hunt; son, Stephen (Debbie) Ritz; grandchildren, Samantha, Stacie, Jerry and Michael; great-grandsons, Justin and Jordan; step-children, Alan (Sarah) Goodyear, Jonathan (Joy) Goodyear, Matthew (Jessica) Goodyear, Susan (Shad) Hebert; step-grandchildren, Corbin, Rylee, Trevor, Taylor, Nathan, Holly and John Jr.; brother-in-law, Stephen (Fran) Chubaty; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Friends may call Monday (March 28th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM at Holy Ghost Church, 250 Coldwater Road. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. You were a great man who loved his family and friends. You were loyal to the ones that meant the most to you. Your life was not measured by the money you made or the possesions you owned because anyone that knew you knew you were an incredibly much richer man just by who you were!! We were all lucky and much better people for knowing you and being lucky enogh to have you in our lives!!
We will all continue to Love and miss you forever! May you Rest in Peace and be with God and the rest of the Angels in Heaven!!
I have such fond memories as a young person of Bill, Anne and the kids coming to our farm for dinners. Loved Bill’s mother Dorothy. My Mother, Dorothy and I took a trip to Arizona to see our cousins when I was a young teenager. Such a nice trip. Bill took such good care of his mom. Bill was such a nice man and my father just loved him.
