Walter J. Schiemann passed peacefully on April 28th 2017 at the age of 90. Born on May 21st, 1926 in Rochester, NY. Predeceased by his wife, Joyce; parents Delbert and Ollie; son Thomas Richard; brothers, Robert and Richard; and Sister, Judianne. Survived by his brother, John Schiemann; children, John (Gerianne), Marilyn (Larry) Hansen, Kathleen Chandler; grandchildren, Randy (Jane) Johnson, John (Nicole) Schiemann, Nicole (Eric) Baetzhold, Rhett (Sylvia) Yochum; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Riley Johnson; Companion, Joan Lobello; family and friends. After serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps, Walter began work at Eastman Kodak until his retirement. He was involved with politics, serving in different capacities for the Independence Party. Walter was deeply loved by all who knew him and he will be missed. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 30th from 2 to 4pm at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.

I knew Walt casually but he was very cordial to me. I was close friends with his brother John. I would like to get in touch with him if anyone who reads this knows his contact information.
