Vytis Lelis Greece: May 2, 2018 at age 75. Predeceased by his parents, Vladas & Marcele Lelis; wife, Laimute Lelis; stepson, Lucas Lange. Survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Ausra (Michael) Clifford, Nida (Jonas) Lelis; grandchildren, Lina, Liam, Arija & Aleksa; loving family & dear friends. Vytis’ visitation will be held Saturday, May 5th 11:00 AM - 12 NOON where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 NOON at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 150 Varinna Dr. Rochester NY 14608. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital (st.jude.org) in his memory. Ausra, Nida, Barb and extended family, What can I say other than he was my brother from a different mother, my dear friend, long time fishing partner, companion in both joyful and trying times, and one of the best people I have had the privilege to know. I am happy that I got home from Oregon to tell him that I loved him. It is a great consolation for me despite the huge loss. He passed on peacefully in the same way he lived. Never stop telling the stories of Vytis. He becomes present for us through the telling of the stories. There must be joy in heaven with all the reunions.
Barb and family, I am so sad to hear that Vytis has passed away. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to everyone. Vytis was such a nice man and I really enjoyed working with him. He was a great asset to our program in support our students.

Barbara, AuÅ¡ra, Nida and children. We are so deeply sorry for your husband’s, dad’s and granddad’s passing. It feels like yesterday that we were staying at your house for your mom’s Laima’s funeral. Vytis and Alfie were good friends – became like family spending 2 weeks a year living together as Fisheyes. They really cared for each other. I guess the last time they saw each last fall they both knew that the next time they see each other will be in God’s hands. Zivile has just joined them. God has blessed us with memories – they comfort us. Vida and family
Barbara, I am so sorry to hear of Vytis’s passing. It was great to see him again at church last month! I’m going to be out of town this weekend so unable to attend his service on Saturday. Please know I will be with you in spirit and am praying for you and your family. I hope to see you soon.

To Ausra and Nida and family. I am very sad to hear this news and offer my deepest sympathy. Vytis was always nice to me when I was little. I remember saying hello to him at one of those after mass meals and shaking his rather large and warm hand. I told him how my parents and I loved those potatoes he brought us. I believe he is reunited with his loved ones in heaven, God bless you all, Ruta Klimas
With very fond memories of working with and laughing with Vytis at ‘the yellow box’ Kodak on State Street in CESD way back in the 1970’s-80s. Some of my very fondest of memories at Kodak are of Vytis and our ‘Administrative and Financial Services’ gang. My deepest condolences to to your entire family.

Barb- I cannot tell you how sad I was to hear of Vytis’s passing. I feel so sad. He was such a fine person – and I am very happy for the time you had together. I am sorry for the suffering he went thru, and how hard this had to be on you. I have tried to find your address, so when you read this, if you could send me that, I would appreciate it. I have so many good memories of him over so many years – Vytis was just a major part of the Eugene and Jeanne crowd ! God Bless him.
