Hilton, NY: April 25, 2015 at age 88. Predeceased by his sister, Lucy Galvin; brothers-in-law, John Galvin and Nicholas Cantando. Survived by his loving of wife 60 years, Sylvia Liotino; children, Christina (David) Ulrich, Laura (Christopher) Teta, Richard Vito Liotino, Maria (John) DeStephano & Lawrence (Michele) Liotino; 13 grandchildren, Liza (Michael) Ritchie, Mary (Jonathan) Kuminski, Joseph Liotino, Anthony Liotino, Julia Teta, Andrew Teta, Enzo DeStephano, Matthew Teta, Angelo DeStephano, Nicholas Liotino, Grace Liotino, Callan Teta, and Rocco DeStepahno; brother, Peter (Mary Lou) Liotino; sister, Antoinette Cantando; many loving family and dear friends. Vito is a proud Veteran of the United States Army and served our country in WWII. He was devoted to his wife and family. He was ‘one of the good guys’. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Vito’s visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29th, 5-8 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 38 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468, Hilton Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 AM at St. Leo’s Church, 167 Lake Avenue, Hilton, NY. Interment will be held, Friday, 11:30 AM at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, 623 Franklin Street, Elmira, NY 14904. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S.     Dear Sylvia and family ,so many fond memories such a great man cant help but smile just thinking about him and all of you ,unfortunately I will be in Florida this week but would really like to see you when I return.I know its a very hard time right now but if there is anything I can do please let me know.     Dear Sylvia and family, I was truly saddened to hear of Vito’s passing. He was a good friend and an outstanding neighbor. I still miss the good times on the Knoll. I know that God will give you the strength and understanding to cope with the sadness to follow. I think of you and Vi often.
