Greece: Friday, December 19, 2014 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Peggy; brother and sisters. Survived by his daughters, Carol Chiarenza & Sheila (Gary) Pompan; grandson, Paul R. Popovici; sister, Elaine Chiarenza; many dear friends. Vincent is a veteran of the United States Army and Served our country in WWII. He was the second group to be chosen to attend Honor Flight in Washington DC. The family would like to thank St. Ann’s Home and Lifetime Care Hospice for the wonderful care and concern that was given to Vincent. Vincent’s visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 23rd 11AM until 1PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His funeral service will follow visitation in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. My condolences. I worked with ‘Vinnie’ from time to time at the Rochester DuPont Plant about ‘100 years’ ago. On several occasions he helped me a great deal.
