Greece: Thursday, November 6, 2008. He is predeceased by his grandson, Eric Dziuba. Survived by his wife, Francine Snover; children, Nancy (Kevin) Dziuba, Stephen (Sue VanSlyke) Snover; Scott (Sandra DeBell) Snover and Cheryl Snover; grandchildren, Karen Dziuba, Amber & Chad Snover; great grandchildren, Taylor Dziuba, Kirstin & Kada Frazier; sister, Marian Maxson; brother, Herbert (Jean) Snover; mother in law, Fern Bailey; also by several sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews. Vinny was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and a retired manager from Asheville Airport Parking in Asheville, N.C. He was also a veteran of WWII, and a member of the American Legion. Friends may call SUNDAY, 2-6 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated MONDAY, 11:30 AM in St. Mark’s Church (54 Kuhn Rd.) Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Road, Rochester NY 14626.
A good friend from our growing up days in Brockport NY. His humorous outlook always kept us entertained. Peace and comfort to his family. Jack LeSchander

It is with many tears but also with great joy that I send this heartfelt message. Tears for Vinny and tears for all the Snover family but also with great joy that I have been a part of the Snover family. Vinny and Fran opened their hearts to me and made me feel a true part of the family. Vinny’s mortal presence — his wit and humor and dedication to family will be missed on this earth but his spirit will live on in our hearts and always with the beautiful, sincere family he raised with his ‘sweetie pie.’ I have enjoyed every minute I spent with Vinny — I will miss his phone calls — ‘Sandy this is the FBI.’ I will miss him talking at family dinners. Vinny is a wonderful man, a devoted loving husband and father and a great friend. We should all be so blessed as to walk this earth the way Vinny led his life. Words cannot express the sadness in my heart but we must believe, as Vinny did, that he will live forever in heaven and that we will be together again someday. Vinni will be sorely missed by a large number of friends at Northwest YMCA. I first met Vinni about 18 months ago and struck up a friendship I will always cherish. His infectious smile and his ability to tease and laugh will not be forgotten. Because of my passion for the Yankees he referred to me as Mr Steinbrenner. He new I was a democrat and he brought me a book about Hillary. Vinni was a happy person and his personality rubbed off on many. Joan was always happiest on the days she got to see him. God Bless
