Victor Gonzalez

July 28, 1934 – August 19, 2025.

Victor Gonzalez, 91 of Rochester, NY, passed away on August 19, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.  He was born on July 28, 1934, to Etanisla (Ana) Gonzalez and Eusebio Porrata. Victor was a man of quiet wisdom, unwavering faith, and expressed deep love for his Family, Friends, and his Community. 

He always had a smile on his face, often deflecting questions about his health with genuine concern for others. He spent every minute of his diagnosis doing whatever he could with his family and making everlasting memories with his loved ones, despite the struggles of his illness. His goal was to live life to the fullest and not give up. He brought us a great deal of joy with his beautiful singing and his infectious laughter. 

Friends may call Saturday (August 30th) 11-12 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday (August 30th) 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. His burial immediately following in Riverside Cemetery. 

In place of flowers, the Family requests contributions be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
