GREECE – September 7, 2026, passed at the age of 90 after a decade long battle with Parkinsons.  Vera is predeceased by her parents; Paul & Adelaide ( Mezzanotte ) Yodice; brother, Vincent P. Yodice; sister, Paula Thelen; husbands, Richard T. Laudisi and Robert W. Brennan. Vera is survived by children; Richard (Joanne) Laudisi, Laura (Douglas) Mann, Thomas (Claudia) Laudisi; grandchildren; Jason Mann, Rachael (Mark) Stephenson, Robert Laudisi, Vincent Laudisi, Mitchell Laudisi, Anthony Laudisi, Zachary Laudisi, Michael Laudisi, Olivia Laudisi; great grandchild, Madison Stephenson.  Also survived by Stepchildren; Carol (Larry) Perrin, James (Jane) Brennan, Richard (Suzette) Brennan, Thomas Brennan, Kathern (Dave) Shuey, Bonnie Murphy along with many Step Grandchildren. Vera was a devote Catholic, an Anti-Abortion Advocate, an accomplished Pianist & Vocalist, and an Extraordinary Homemaker.  Vera was a proud Graduate of Our Lady of Mercy, class of 1955.

Friends may call Monday, September 14, 2026, 3-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. Vera’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Rochester, NY 14616. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. We would like to recognize and thank the Team at the Wegman Family Cottages of the Parkridge Living Center for their years of kind, compassionate and professional care that mom received. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Vera’s memory to Our Lady of Mercy School, 1437 Blossom Rd, Rochester, NY 14610.

    Heaven just received another angel. I love you so much, Grandma. I’m going to miss you every moment of every day. Thank you for always being there for me and thank you for always putting a smile on my face. I have the fondest memories of you and I and will never forget them. I love you very much and I’m going to miss you. I love you. Rest in peace.
