March 28, 1955 – May 16, 2025

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, Vasily Markovich Korolchuk, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 70.

Vasily was born on March 28, 1955, in the village of Volytsya, located in the Rivne region of Ukraine, to Mark Vlasovich Korolchuk and Larisa Ivanivna Korolchuk. He was the second of four siblings, growing up alongside his older sister Luda and younger siblings Tanya and Alex.

From a young age, he displayed a deep love for learning, a strong sense of responsibility, and a heart for helping others. He grew up enjoying the beauty of the outdoors – a love that remained constant throughout his life. Whether tending the yard, walking through the woods, or simply enjoying the sunshine, being in nature brought him deep joy and calm.

Vasily will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 41 years, Raisa, and their beloved children and spouses: Maria & Paul Muzichuk, Elena & Alex Tsaruk, Oksana & Tony Tarasevich, Liliya & Andrey Kirik, Larisa & Mike Goy, Anita Korolchuk, Iliya Korolchuk, Mark Korolchuk, Paul & Olga Korolchuk, Victoria & Vasiliy Krulikovsky, Margarite & Mike Gonskiy, and Alex Korolchuk. He also leaves behind 21 cherished grandchildren, his dear mother Larisa Korolchuk, his loving siblings Luda Lisnichuk, Tanya Kirilovich, and Alex Korolchuk, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews who were all dear to his heart.

Vasily’s life was a reflection of joy, strength, and generosity. He was a faithful and hardworking man who gave his best in all he did. His laughter and wit could fill a room, and his powerful tenor voice was a cherished part of every church service. He had the gift of making everyone feel welcome – no one ever felt like a stranger in his presence. He held his family close to his heart, and nothing made him smile more than time spent with his kids and grandkids. He was an adventurer at heart, always eager to explore new places and share stories from near and far.

Vasily’s memory will live on in the countless lives he touched, in every plant thriving in his yard, and in the songs that echo with his voice.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?’”  John 11:25-26

Funeral Services Thursday (May 22nd) 7-9 PM and Friday (May 23rd) 10-11:30 AM at the Slavic Pentecostal Church, 4925 Ridge Road West, followed by interment in Parma Corners Cemetery.

I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. He was a truly remarkable man — a kind, gentle soul whose warmth, faith, and uplifting words left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He was the kind of person who always had something encouraging to say, someone who reflected God’s love in his everyday actions. Whether it was a smile, a kind word, or his quiet strength, he made people feel seen and valued.

His legacy of faith, family, and love will continue to live on through each of you. May you find comfort in knowing how deeply he was loved and respected, not just by those closest to him, but by everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.

I am praying for peace and strength for your entire family during this difficult time. May God surround you with His grace and the warmth of all the beautiful memories you shared.”

    With heartfelt sympathy,
    Levchuk and Kravtsov Family
