Thomas W. Adams
Rochester NY: passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at age 84, in Lakeland, FL. Born August 8, 1937, in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late William C. Adams and Helen (Nary) Adams. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Eastman Kodak in 1993 as a Human Resources Supervisor after 31 years with the company. He was a member of Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Bartow, FL. Mr. Adams is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 63 years, Jean Adams of Bartow, his children: Steven T. Adams (Julie) of Caledonia, NY, Michael T. Adams (Susan) of Baltimore, MD and Mary Jo Schutt (Terry) of Henrietta, NY, He also leaves behind his sister , Joan Morgiewicz (Leon) of Fairport, NY along with nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call Saturday (May 7th) 10-12 NOON at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece. His Graveside Prayers will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross at www.redcross.org in his memory.
Tom was my best man in our wedding 64 years ago. We shared driving in 1957 coming home to Rochester on weekends. Tom was in the army stationed in Fort Devans Mass. and I worked for the Boston and Maine RR in Franklin NH. Tom will always be my best man. We last saw he and Jean 5 years ago at their summer home at Sunny Banks near Cape Vincent at the Thousand Islands. Jim East
