Survived by his loving wife, Mary Phelan; sons, Thomas (Kathryn) Phelan, Patrick (Lisa) Phelan; daughter, Eileen (George) Alley; grandchildren, Thomas, Brian, Carrie, Susan, William & Mary Ellen Phelan, Sean Alley, Sharyn (Blaine) Evans, Tyler & Dylan Evans, Cassandra, Ryan & Tarrah Phelan; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas was a retiree of Rochester Gas & Electric. Family and friends may call Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
