GREECE: Saturday, July 14, 2007. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lois; son, Thomas (Michelle) Donohoe; daughter, Kathleen (Christian) Jensen; brother-in-law, Herbert Winterroth; sister-in-law, Geraldine Donohoe; grandchildren, Casey, Erin & Phillip; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas was a Navy veteran of World War II, a retiree of Eastman Kodak after 39 years, past Fire Chief of the Lake View Fire Dept. and past Commissioner of Lake Shore Fire District. Thomas was also a life member of the New York State Fire Chief’s Association, a member of the Our Mother of Sorrows Men’s Club and a member of the American Legion Post # 1591. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in his memory.

    I am so very sorry for your loss. ‘Big Tom’ is a presence in so many of my childhood memories. I consider myself lucky to have had all of the Donohoes in my life.
