Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute
Wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather, friend; Thursday, August 30, 2012 at age 79 after a very brief illness. Ted will be deeply missed by his wife Carol; children Debora (Scott) McMichael, Denise (Craig) Boland and Donald (Becca) Spaulding; grandchildren Nicholas, Emily and Noah McMichael, Joshua and Jordyn Boland and Jazz and Andrew Spaulding; and many, many dear friends. Ted is a proud Veteran of the United States Army where he served our country for over 20 years, including service during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golfing and bowling with his friends. Ted was a respected and admired man who will be dearly missed by all those blessed enough to know him. He will forever be in our hearts. Donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America in his memory. Friends may come celebrate Ted’s life next Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 3:00 ‘€œ 6:00 pm at his daughter’s house at 54 Stratford Lane, Rochester 14612 (Greece). Ted’s burial with full military honors will be held at a time to be announced in mid November at Arlington Nation Cemetery.
Bill and I were only with Ted on a few occasions but it was evident from our first meeting that he was the salt of the earth. What a kind, gentle, loving man. They say a measure of a man is how he treats his family and friends. If that is the case, then Ted’s measure would traverse the infinite. Carol and Ted share so much love and I say share, because that love continues, as does life after death. We will all miss him and be grateful that he touched our lives if only for a moment in time. Melle and Bill Sensibbaugh Florence, S.C.

Your Celebration of Life was wonderful! I know you are so proud of your children. Debora, Denise and Don are such a tribute to you because of all the things you taught them about life, honor, loyalty, love and honesty.
