Terry Lee Boehm, age 83, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, after courageously facing many health challenges.

He was predeceased by his parents and several siblings.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Boehm; his children, Liz (Keith) Parrotte, Michelle (Mike) Flores, Paul (Paula) Anderson, Chris (Noel) Boehm, and Jerry (Demi) Frank; his grandchildren, Steven (GF Layla), Nicole (John), Nicholas (GF Carly), Drake, Ethan (GF Morgan), Morgan, Eddie, Ellis, and Connor; Barb Cordes and other dear friends and family at Orchard View; his sisters.

Terry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served on the USS Kenneth D. Bailey.  After the Navy, he helped provide for his family with a wide variety of jobs throughout his life, including working at Kodak, delivering newspapers, gas station attendant, customer service for Shaheen’s, driving an armored truck, etc. However, his favorite role was as a cement truck driver.

Terry had many interests and passions. He enjoyed puzzles and mysteries—especially Sherlock Holmes and Perry Mason—as well as Vincent Price movies, John Wayne, Johnny Cash, the New York Yankees, and the Washington Commanders (formerly the Redskins). He had a sweet tooth, particularly for chocolate and milkshakes, and a special love for animals (especially Boots).  Above all, Terry cherished his roles as Husband, Dad, and—most of all—Grandpa and loved cheering on his grandchildren – whether it was watching Nicholas or Ethan play hockey; Drake, Morgan, or Ellis in plays, musicals, or recitals, etc.

He will be deeply missed.

Friends may call Wednesday (May 27th) 4-7 pm at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. His Family Prayers will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Private interment, Western New York National Cemetery, Corfu, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research (https://give.michaeljfox.org).
