Dear Stu and Family, My sincere sympathy to you all. Sue’s been a long-time friend, and I’ll remember has as a woman who lived large: she took great pleasure and enjoyment from her family, friends, and hobbies and laughed often and heartily. Of course, she often wore her heart on her sleeve, always sincerely. Sue will be missed. Rosemarie Seewagen

Devin and I were very sad to hear the very sad news of Sue’s passing. Devin is friends with her grandson Tanis and he always enjoyed his time at Stu’s and Sue’s house. He said she was always good to him and treated him with kindness. Although I only knew her for a short time and had a few conversations with her, she seemed very genuine in her kindness and hospitality. I wish I had a chance to know her longer but her memory will live on in our hearts. Our prayers and thoughts are with Stuart, Tanis, and the rest of her family. God Bless you all.

I am very sorry to hear the news about Sue’s passing. After spending numerous childhood hours across the creek at the Ring’s house playing with my great friends Matt and Andy, she seemed to be a second mom to me. I will never forget her laugh and how happy she always was (except when us kids would get in trouble as all kids do). Her passion for dolls was always very apparent and I had thought one day she might have a museum of her own. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family in this difficult time. I hope you find comfort knowing she is in a very special place now.

I cannot imagine our doll club without Sue. She always brought happiness and a hearty laugh to the group. I am so happy to have known her even though it was only for a couple years. She will be missed so much and remembered forever. I am keeping all her family in my thoughts. Linda Leake-Beard

Sue was one of the kindest and most generous souls I know and a good friend. I will always remember how she cried with me when I was having a very difficult time with my Mom. Sue laughed a lot; loud and infectious. You could always locate her at any doll show by her laugh. She will be greatly missed and the Henrietta Doll Lover’s Club will never be the same without her. She was the heart of our club and very enthusiastic about dolls and doll lovers alike, always willing to share her collection and knowledge. My sincerest sympathy to those of you who were lucky enough to count her as a friend as I did. My heart goes out to her family, but please know that wherever Sue is, She is having a grand time with every doll she ever wanted.

Words cannot express the saddness I feel at this time Sue was such a great friend to me from the moment we met at a garage sale back in 1985 till today .We shared many loves mostly for dolls of any kind ,from artist dolls to toy store we loved it all ! I have been accused by others of trying to compete w/ her for who has the most dolls… Sue would always win ,as as Dottie would say she never met a doll she didn’t like or BUY.We did Doll Shows together for years ,always sharing the work of setting up and then packing up ,I can almost hear Sue ,Humming now .She always Hummed a tune when we were packing up and she did it not even realizing that she was .That’s what a happy person she was.I don’t think collecting will be the same now without her as I don’t have her to share my great buy with, or her to enable me in to buying another doll that I didn’t know about till I saw her’s and fell IN LOVE & HAD TO HAVE ONE TOO!! My Heart goes out to Stu,Matt, Tracy,Andy ,Gwen &the grandchildren that she loved so much.I feel your Pain and saddness. And you know I’m here for you if you need to talk or anything.Sue I miss you,Love Sheila
