Susan M. Mills Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at age 67. Predeceased by her parents, James and Irene Mills. She is survived by her brothers, Brian (Gail) Mills and Paul Mills; her loving partner, Gerry Heusinger; many nieces, nephews; loving family and dear friends. Susan retired from the OPWDD as a Development Assistant. During her time there, she met her cherished best friends, Gloria Flynn, Linda Richards, and Leticia Briggs. Susan loved to travel and go on adventures with Wayne Crews and Shirley Rabon, the "Adventure Trio." Her friendships with Lynette Russell and Pat and Dan Wissman were also very near to her heart. Susan also enjoyed spending time with Gerry’s daughter and son-in-law, Emily and John Monack. Susan loved all animals and admired her pets over the years. Susan was adored by everyone that ever met her and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life for Susan will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Romig’s Tavern, 18 Bennington Drive. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lollypop Farm (www.lollypop.org) in her memory.

Sue Mills is already missed. Sue sent us frequent texts, "I just wanted to say Hi…Just checking in on you two"; Sue sent us Holiday greetings for every Holiday, including Mother’s and Father’s Day; Sue encouraged us to get together and get out more, so we will miss our relatively frequent dinners out, with or without other guests, where we explored different restaurants. Sue supported us during difficult times and supported others as well. Sue unselfishly and consistently visited her cousin Joe while he was ill at home, in the hospital, or in the nursing home. For instance, she and Wayne prepared and served a holiday dinner at the nursing home, and stayed with Joe, laughing and joking. It made his day! Sue continued to visit Joe whenever she could, even during Covid, even when she was not sure he recognized her (one time, he told her he had a cousin named Sue, lol) and even when he was no longer able to communicate. We miss her, but she will always be in our hearts as the loving, kind, caring person she was. We wish to thank Gerry, Shirley, and Emily and John for their loving care of Sue during her days of great need. You are all amazing! We know Sue’s spirit is with you and in you all!
Sue was a great person and wonderful friend I did her hair for years and her moms hair also Greatly Missed!
