The glow of this candle is like the warmth you spread to everyone. You were my friend, my helper and someone I knew I could come to anytime I needed help. Laurie was always gracious enough to never make me feel intrusive. I will miss you, and promise to be here whenever Laurie might need me, as you were for me.

So many memories to cherish….. I don’t even know where to start. We grew up together not only as cousins, but friends. We played together, went to school and church together, went on many adventures with "Grandma", fought like siblings, annoyed each other but always loved one another in the end. Life took us in separate directions, but you are still family and a part of my past. Rest in peace my handsome cousin.

We will all miss Steve so much. He was so kind and a loving husband dad and grandfather. He really loved those grandkids. Always willing to help out and have a laugh. Karl and Steve used to sneak down the basement and share their stories and be amazed at Laurie’s amazing talents. We are so glad he lived the RV dream and made it to Alaska. The cottage was a labor of love that he cherished. He appreciated the great outdoors. We missed seeing the family over the last two years of not being able to travel, but he will always be in our hearts!

Even though we did not get to see Steve very often, every time we were together he was so wonderful to be with. He was warm, friendly and showed such love and devotion to my cousin Laurie and their children and grandchildren. We enjoyed hearing stories about the family and trips they were planning. May the special memories you had together comfort you Laurie and your family in this difficult time. He will always be remembered with a lot of love. We are so sorry for your great loss.

I worked with Steve for many years at Kodak, he was a great co-worker and friend who was always willing to help. He also had a great sense of humor which kept our job fun. He was an all around good guy who will be missed.

We were lucky to have known such a great guy. He was nice, funny, genuine, and hardworking (traits hard to find in one person). He spoke often of his kids and Laurie. He will be missed. Our prayers are with the Greene family. I know you have many memories of him that will keep him close to your hearts.

My heart breaks for the Greene family. We grew up across the street from each other, and the Greenes were like family to me—Steve like a big brother. I have so many childhood tales I could tell, most of them involving Steve and my brothers! I’m keeping you all in my heart. May his kind, gentle soul Rest In Peace.
