Stella H. Carder

Stella Helene Carder died on May 24, 2014 in Rochester. She was the daughter of Edward J. and Stella G. (Robert) Souliere, born in Springfield, MA on September 19, 1925. She is predeceased by her sons Milton and Michael. Surviving are her husband of 70 years William E. Carder, her children Diane, Timothy, Mary Ellen and Beth, their spouses and 26 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Continuing a family tradition, Stella was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and knitter. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband in the US and often visited her daughter abroad. She was active in St. John of Rochester Church and its Silver Club. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her loving care of her family and her support for friends in times of need. The funeral mass on June 7 at 9:30 am in St. John of Rochester Church, Fairport, will be followed by private entombment.
