Patrick, Shirley W. Greece: Saturday, May 6, 2017 at age 80. Survived by her son, Scott (Laura) Patrick; daughter, Heather (Roger) Hyman; grandchildren, Caroline Hyman and William Hyman; her brother, Donald (Sharon) Webster; sister, Janet (Thomas) Metzger; aunt, Mary Rootes; former husband, William M. Patrick, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Shirley loved spending time with her family especially the young children. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Red Wings games. Shirley had a very active social life and enjoyed attending many events with her very close friends. Friends may call Friday (May 12th) 4-8 PM at Vay, Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday (May 13th) 10:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital or the charity of one’s choice in her memory. you were the ‘cool’ mom when I was growing up. I never saw you get angry or upset and you had plenty to be upset about with teenage girls to contend with. I also had the opportunity to work with you later in life at Strong and we shared many times reminiscing about our pasts.
Scott, Laura, Heather, Roger, Caroline and Will, my thoughts and prayers are with you. you were blessed with a great mom/grandma
