My father and I had the honor of being Shirley’s customers at Walmart Supercenter in Brockport, NY. We both send her family and many, many friends our condolences. I have fond memories of her that I will always carry in my heart. This community really loved and cherished Shirley and her never ending gift of love, tolerance, compassion and kindness. I’m very surprised that she passed away. My grocery shopping experiences won’t be the same. Shirley was truly a living human angel.

I am so sorry to hear about Shirley’s passing, Heaven has received a new Angel, a beautiful spirited Angel who always gave people a reason to smile and laugh…her personality was contagious, and she is truly going to be missed so much! I always looked forward to seeing her at Walmart..she always wanted to know how the family was and would ask my youngest son how he was doing in Basketball. It was a treat when she came to visit BHS a few years ago, and showed us some of her fancy basketball skills and moves in the cafeteria with Sharon and the big garbage cans. She knew how to play ball! I feel so bad for all of her children, especially Ryan, who took such great care of her, made her comfortable, and was there for her every day…you are an incredible son and you should know that you are amazing as well. Keep you Mother’s spirit alive and continue to make people smile and laugh the way she always did…..she will watch over you and give you strength. She will truly be missed. Rest in peace beautiful lady!

    To Shirley’s family:
It was a blessing that I got to know Shirley over the years while she worked at the high school. Shirley was always a positive person that even the most sullen child could not help but like her. Know that she was loved here at BHS

Very, very sad to hear. Shirley was so giving of herself and always concerned for others. She was always friendly and positive – a dear, dear sweet lady on Earth, and will continue to be so as an angel in Heaven. Rest in peace, dear lady, and enjoy your eternal reward. With much love and sympathy on what surely must be
a great loss, The Hauck Family. <3

My deepest sympathy of the passing of Shirley. I met Shirley through my mom, Maria from the Hilton Family Restaurant. I had the pleasure to sit with her and my mom at the restaurant many times and talk. What a lovely, lovely lady your mom was and an absolutely great conversationalist!!! May her memory be eternal! God bless!
