Lunn, Sheri Nicole Batavia NY: formally of Hilton NY and Endicott NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 28, 2017 at age 31. She is survived by her mother Dianne Lunn of Hilton NY and her father and step-mother Richard and Angela Lunn of Binghamton, NY, brothers Steven and Daniel of Hilton, Zachary of Binghamton, sister Deanna of Binghamton, maternal grandfather Donald E. Short of Endwell, a special Aunt Carolyn Short of Deposit NY, nephew Zachary Lantz, plus numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is also survived by her fiance and soulmate, Joshua Hirsch of Batavia, NY and her babydog Dallas. Sheri was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Marilyn K. Short, paternal grandparents Betty M. Kodirrondack and John C. Lunn, Sr. Sheri’s family will hold a Celebration of her Life Saturday (August 5, 2017) from 2-5 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 38 East Avenue, Hilton Chapel. The family will share memories at 4:30 PM. I remember the day she came to our school in 4th grade, she said she moved here from Endicott, I told my parents she was from Handicap *face palm* I went to one of her birthday parties in Cedar Terrace, she had a soccer ball pinata in the basement. She was always sweet and kind. Although I haven’t kept in touch with her after school, I remember her fondly. You will be missed hun. I’m so sorry for your lost.

Sheri, I remember you at your youth. I love those memories I will cherish them forever. I remember them like it was yesterday. Even though it’s been 19 years my sorrow is as deep as it would be as of we hung out everyday. I miss you, I love you, save a space for me in heaven.
Sheri, my dear lovely Sheri, my heart grieves for you and your family. You were taken from this world way too soon. I am who I am today because of you. We grew up together on good ole cedar terrace, and sadly, as it so often happens, we grew apart. We spoke recently and I was elated to reconnect with you. I will forever hold our memories in my heart until we meet again. I love you my fun looking fun 🙂
There are no words to express my feelings about the loss of Sheri. I was blessed to call Sheri my best friend for the past 20 years. We have shared so many priceless memories and laughs over the years that I will cherish forever. As I look back on photographs of us taken throughout he years, I can’t help but remember Sheri’s bright smile and her contagious laugh. To Sheri’s family – my sincere condolences for your loss. Sheri was truly an amazing person & so full of life. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if you need anything at all during this difficult time.
