Sheila’s life was all about making others feel welcome and to put a smile on their faces without trying…the smile and friendly hello she gave to everyone when she first saw them was ever lasting!  She grew up in Rochester’s 10th ward where she lived most of her adult life as well.  Her love for people motivated her into the restaurant business where she eventually owned two different family style restaurants until she retired.  She loved to sing, dance the polka, play bingo and get into some fun trouble with her sister Patty, Kay and friend Cheryl.   Her love for Tom Selleck was serious!

Special thank you to Kathy Meagher who helped care for Sheila and to the staff at The Hamlet on Long Pond Rd for always treating Shelia like one of the family.

Friends may call Thursday (July 11th) 4-6 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, where her Funeral Service will follow at 6:00PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Wounded Warrior Project in her memory.
