Not every day do you get to meet someone like Sam. I knew the first time I met her there was something about her that was special. She had that smile that was infectious and gentle.

We shared many private talks together that showed the love and caring concern she had for her family. Not for herself who was sick, but for her family, who she loved so much. You were a great lady Sam. Such an inspiration!!

I didn’t get to see you for your last few weeks, but I know it would have been difficult for me. I would have been crying along with Mom and Aunt Lucille.
You were very special to me and to all of us!!
I will always remember you Sam!!

    Kathy Penny
