Rochester: Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Sandra is predeceased by her father, Joel D. Smith Sr. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Ajegba, sons, Marcus Ajegba, Aaron Ajegba, mother, Pearl Smith ( Rome, NY), brother Joel D. Smith Jr. (Columbia, MD), sister Linda (Kim) Williams, (Rome, NY), special friend Sandra Wyatt and Godchild Parrie Wyatt; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Sandra is a founding member of the SUNY Geneseo Chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Organization. Friends may call Monday (Sept 5th) 6-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM at St. Andrew Church, Portland Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Daniel, Marcus & Aaron, We just found out about the passing of your mother. You are so lucky to have such a wonderful person in your lives. She was a remarkable human being and a friend to all. Daniel, Marcus and Aaron, We are just shocked to hear of the loss of your beautiful Sandy. The world is now missing one of the most wonderful souls. Always a smile as big as it could be, an everlasting hug, and such love and compassion. She was truly special and we are so sorry for your loss and your pain. You are each in our hearts.
