Greece: Saturday, August 18, 2012. Predeceased by her husband, John Cianciola; brothers, Calogero, Giuseppe and Sebastiano Laiosa. Survived by her sons, John (Linda) Cianciola and Carmen (Debra) Cianciola; grandson, Domenic Cianciola; brother, Giovanni (Tina) Laiosa; sisters, Josephine Arena and Maria Laiosa; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Friends may call Wednesday (Aug 22nd) 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday (Aug 23rd) 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golisano Children’s Hospital in her memory.
Carm, Deb, Domenic and all family. My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Remember her long life, the love she gave to each of you,her pride in her family, and remember that you took good care of her all these years. Dear John, Carmen, Linda, Debra, and Dominic, I am deeply saddened by the news of the loss of your mom, Salvatrice. We were out of town and I regret that we could not extend our sympathy to you all in person. I cherish the memories of our times shared as children. Your mother certainly had her hands full taking care of your father, John, and both of you boys. She was a wonderful lady, kind and loving to her family and friends. God bless Salvatrice. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
