Rose M. ‘Ross’ Martin

Rose M. Martin: Rochester: Passed away peacefully on October 10, 2010 after a brief illness at age 94. Beloved sister of Genevieve M. Dunn of Rochester; beloved aunt of Patty Hutchinson of Rochester, David (Mary)Dunn of Massachusetts, Ronald Martino and Judy Martino of Geneva, Robert Martino of Florida, and Thomas Martino of Vermont; beloved great aunt of Jay Hutchinson of Rochester, Justin Dunn of Washington, DC, Jenny Martino of Vermont, Amy Martino of Colorado, Michael Martino of California, Jeffrey Martino of Florida, Robert Martino, and Samuel Martino; she also is survived by many wonderful friends. Rose was a long-time member of the Canandaigua Yacht Club and the first woman on the club’s board of directors. She was retired from a career in training at Singer Co. Friends may call at the Tuesday 4-7 P.M. at Vay Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:30 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HCR or the charity of one’s choice in her memory.
