Dear Grandma, It’s hard to believe that over a month has past since you were sent home. I have tried so many times to describe on paper what you mean to me, but it just seems as though I could never have enough space to express how much I truly love and miss you. Throughout my entire life you were always there for me. Some of my most cherished memories stem from the summers I spent at your house. I really miss the days when I would snuggle up next to you in the recliner, passing the time by watching RNews and Lifetime. Even in your later years, I could always count on your beautiful smile to brighten my day. I can honestly say that throughout your life, you served as a source of inspiration for me. Even now as you watch over me in heaven, I am still inspired by the woman you are. I can only hope that one day I grow to become the strong, loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that you were. You are my guardian angel and I hope as you watch over me I make you proud. I know you are never far away because I carry your heart in my heart. I love you, forever and always. Love, Hilary

Dear Uncle Frank, Carol, Marie & Joyce… I will never ever forget my Godmother’s beautiful smile, gentle laugh and kind, giving soul…those days in Hilton are some of the best memories I will ever have. Your wife/mother filled the world with love and happiness (and all of you are living proof of that ). All I can say is: ‘Thank You Aunt Rosie! I can’t even begin to put into words how much you meant to me. You’ll live forever in my heart and thoughts. I Love you dearly.’ In these difficult times my thoughts & prayers are with all of you. Love, Robert

Grandma, You were a second mother to me and I never knew how to repay you after all those years where we drove you crazy. I hope that I took care of you well enough as you did for me. God decided he needed another angel in his garden and I hope you’re somewhere where you can finally remember all of us and look down on us. I love you and I miss you so much.

Grandson’s Love, Good Morning, First of all I would like to thank everyone for coming to celebrate the life of Rose, my grandmother. To me celebration is a new beginning of life. Grandma is now celebrating her life with the lord watching over each and everyone of us. I use the word celebrate because Rose led a fulfilling and wonderful life. Throughout her life she wore many hats…to start she was a loving and nurturing wife that was married to Frank, my grandpa for 60 special years. Through those 60 years they shared good and bad times, but always devoted their lives to each other. The bond, stability, and love for each other was evident everytime they were together. Not only was she a loving wife, but she was a loving mother that raised 3 beautiful, strong, independent daughters that carry her same beliefs and love with their own families. With 3 daughters came wonderful son-in-laws. Now if you were apart of my grandma’s family, you were a son-in-law by name, but a son in her heart. When her daughters got married, she inherited sons that loved her like a mother and she loved them like sons. This was just one of the many wonderful qualities that my grandmother shared with her family. When mentioning Rose, you can’t forget of course the grandma hat. When her grandchildren came along, they became the priority in her life. Grandma was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 2 boys and 7 girls. She cared for her grandchildren with the deepest love that someone could give. Being the oldest grandchild, I had the privilege of sharing a lot of wonderful memories with her. My grandmother taught me many things, which has made me into the person that I am today. My grandmother also had the privilege of becoming a great granmama. She has 2 great grandsons and a great grand daugther on the way that she would have been proud of. I listen to my 2 sons call her granmama and it makes me think of all the wonderful times that we had as grandchildren with her. As you can see, the word family best describes Rose. Her family was the most important component in her life. Whether you were right or wrong, she always loved you just the same. I have to mention right and wrong, because being the oldest, I usually found myself causing the most trouble. If you asked grandma are you ok, she would always say that she has a headache. I think back…I might be that headache! But I can safely say that what happened at grandma’s stayed at grandma’s! She loved to cook, clean, and care for you to the point where you would think you were spoiled, but you weren’t, that was just her. The biggest memory that resonates with me the most, were Sunday dinners at grandma and grandpa’s house. 1317 Parma Hilton Road was the place to be. The 3 sisters and their families would get together and grandma and grandpa would prepare a wonderful italian meal. It was great because we got to see grandma and grandma had her whole family together. Right around 6:00pm though, she would yell ‘Ya gotta get out’ and then softly whisper on your way out ‘Be careful, do yo need any money’ when you were kissing her goodbye. In closing, the passing of my grandmother is a time for great sadness, but knowing my grandmother, she would want us to share all the wonderful memories and stories that made her who she was. The gathering today here to celebrate Rose’s life in evidence enough to show what a wonderful woman she was. I thank you again for coming today and appreciate all the support you have given to our family. God Bless

I remember staying at my Aunt Rosie and Uncle Frank’s house in the summer with my sister Stella. Swimming all day in their pool and being with my 3 older cousins was always fun. I miss those times but am so thankful to have those memories. Susan Marianetti

My beautiful grandmother I miss you so much. It was so hard to watch you leave me. I’ve felt closer to you in the past few years than ever. Thank you for letting that sweet woman come out who was inside you and showing her to us. I loved you in both of your lights and I will continue to love you and think about you every day. Thank you for my beautiful mother. I will take care of her and grandpa, like you would have. I’m upset that you’re gone, but happy that you finally found peace. Tell Aunt Anna I love her.
