Spencerport, NY: Sunday, November 17th, 2013 at age 86. Ronald is predeceased by his parents, Americo & Amelia Grottanelli; brothers, Serofino & Dominic Grottanelli; sisters, Antoinette Sammarco & Katherine Miller. Ronald is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Grottanelli; children, Jill (Philip) Taylor & Ronald Grottanelli; grandchildren, Patrick, Sean & Liam. Ronald was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in WWII. He is a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and loved fishing, camping and bowling. Ronald’s visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 3-6PM where a Prayer Service will be held at 6PM following visitation at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Unity Health Foundation, c/o Unity Dialysis 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626 in Ronald’s memory. I truly will miss Ron. He would always complement me on my gardens, and about how good I am with the grand kids when we’re playing outside. When I would take my walk if he was in the garage Or in the yard he would yell ‘Hey’,and I’d wave and say good morning Ron. I will truly miss him. And Sharon, please know we are here for you.
