I am so deeply sorry for your loss…I am friends with Dawn Close and wanted to express my sympathy to everyone.
May the love of family and friends carry you through your grief. ‘God is our refuge and strength…..'(Psalms 46:1)
So sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Cheerish the memories and know that your mom and dad are once again together and resting in peace.

Mom was asking about Bud this morning, reminiscing about the times that your Dad and my Dad worked (Kodak), hunted, drank, camped and talked dogs together. It wasn’t until I looked him up on the internet to check his address, did we realized he had passed. We are very sorry for your loss…I am sure even these months later he is still deeply missed as the day he left.
One of the most memorable stories that we still laugh about to this day is when Bud asked my Dad (Bob Loomis) if he wanted some chickens. My Dad said ‘sure’…but didn’t realize they were live until Bud showed up with ten chickens flapping around in burlap bags. We turned that into an opportunity for a chicken plucking party…sounds awful now…but it actually was a fun and unusual event (late 1960’s) and one that the neighborhood kids will never forget!
Bud never missed a Christmas card…such a thoughtful, caring man. Even after my Dad passed away, he would always remember Mom (Marj Loomis) at Christmas.
I am sorry that this is so late in coming, but please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss and hopefully find some comfort in know that he lives on in our memories as well.
Sue Loomis (daughter of Bob & Marj Loomis)
