Rodney I. Lowe Greece: Monday, March 25, 2019. Predeceased by his daughter, Cheryl; brothers, Kenneth, Alan and Jeff. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Millie Lowe; his children, David (Theresa) Lowe, Kristin Lowe, Kathy (Kurt) Graupman; grandchildren, Nick and Anna, Cameron and Chloe; step-siblings, William (Colleen) Eysaman, Annette (Art) Withington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Rodney was a proud retiree of Eastman Kodak Company after 31 years. Rodney was an avid collector of antiques and dedicated to service in his community. He was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Friends may call Thursday (March 28th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Friday 9:30 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. I am sad about the passing of Uncle Rod. But in thinking of him I will only see happiness. He, my dad and all of you are of my fondest childhood Rochester memories. Visiting you with dad, Kelly and Danny. Long summer Sunday and Saturday afternoons cooking out, swimming in your pool. Family reunions, usually at Uncle Ken and Aunt Norma’s house as I recall. Hamlin beach with more cooking out (the smell of Kingsford charcoal will always remind me of Rochester days.) Gathering at Grandma and Grandpa’s in Little Falls. Snow forts in the street in front of your home. Holidays, especially one thanksgiving in particular playing cards at the long dining table. The basement at your home with the pool table and freaky cymbal playing monkey. So many more memories. They may seem silly to some, but like my dad always felt, it’s little things that mean a lot. Uncle Rod will be in my memories always and has a part in my heart. I wish I could be with you now gathered in Rochester. I miss you all.
The Lowe brothers all are together again now and as my dad would say “Take it Easy†I love you all, Kimmie
My sincere sympathy to Millie and the Lowe family. Rod was a good friend as well as an associate at Kodak Park for many years. Beyond his capability was a sincerity and personality that made people at all levels like him, and enjoy working with him.

I was so very sorry to hear of Rod’s passing. He will always be remembered as such a sweet, nice man. Ron and I enjoyed getting together with you two both in Greece and in Florida. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and may your wonderful memories keep you strong.

Our heart goes out to you and your family. Being next door neighbors on Elwood drive in the 60’s brings my fondest memories of you and Rod. I have to add Cheryl as well, as I remember her doing her ‘scolding impressions’ for me on the front porch during the many visits we had.
I also remember the day before I had to report for duty in the Army, when I had to say goodbye to her after her illness. It was my first heartfelt loss of my life.
I am so sorry for your loss. You and Rod and your family were always there for my Mom and Dad over the years and I kept up with you through them. When Mom passed away, Jo and I were in town for the funeral in ’85. The eve before the funeral, you and Rod showed up late at our doorstep with food in hand. I was so thankful to see both of you and we all had a wonderful visit which sustained us all.

We are so sorry to hear of Rod’s passing. From Waverly Place, The Farm, Rochester, The Villages, so many memories – overwhelming. I know that George and Rod are together reminiscing with Jeff, Kenny, Alan, Uncle Eaton, Aunt Jane and Dad with cocktails and cheese and crackers on the front porch.

I received with great sadness the news of Rod’s passing. Both Rod and Millie have been close friends of mine since grade school. I don’t think I have ever met or known a finer man and gentleman than Rod Lowe. Always smiling, always polite and always a pleasure to be around. Rod and Millie, the names went together and belonged together. My prayers and love go out to you Millie and the rest of the family. The world has lost a wonderful man.
One of the things I loved most about Rod was his undying love for Millie and all of you. He would tell me stories as I took he and Millie to church and back. He always had a ready smile or laugh and loved to chew the fat after the service. He will be missed!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Lowe. I went to High School with his son Dave who was one of my close friends. We spent lots of time hanging out at the Lowe’s house. Condolences to you Dave and Theresa and the whole Lowe family. I am so sorry that I just found out late on Friday and missed the calling hours and funeral.

I am so sad to hear of Rod’s passing. I last visited with Rod and Millie at a Kodak party here in The Villages. My husband Bud and I visited them at their beautiful home in Greece. I particularly remember the British payphone which they kept and I believe it actually worked. Rod was always smiling and gracious and fun. My condolences to Millie and her family..

WE WERE VERY SAD TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF ROD. WE HAVE KNOWN ROD AND MILLIE FOR A LONG TIME JR HIGH SCHOOL. HE WAS SUCH A FANTASTIC CARE GIVER FOR MILLIE. HOPE THE BEST HIS FAMILY.
