I was a colleague of Roberta for many years at School #39. I was unable to attend her retirement dinner in June, but now I wish I had found a way to be there. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing, particularly on Christmas Day. I’m sorry that Roberta didn’t get to enjoy her retirement. I will remember her as a great teacher and a very nice person. My condolences and sympathies to her family. David Reilly.

I worked with Roberta at #39 School until 1985. She was an excellent teacher and a very nice person. I choose to remember her retirement party in June. She was happy, and looked marvelous. I extend my sincere sympathy to the Family

My thoughts are with all of Roberta’s family- I can’t put up my Christmas tree each year without thinking about Roberta and all of the fun that we had going to a little Christmas shop in the Adirondaks each summer. I still have all of my angels and a Santa and Mrs Claus riding a bicycle built for two that sent Roberta into a hearty laugh when we found it. I will cherish all of my memories of her and all of the times that she listened and offered such great advice with a touch of humor.
