Robert (Bob) Neusatz, an exceptionally talented musician from Greece, New York, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the age of 71. Bob’s passion for music led him to attend the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, where he studied Piano and Music Theory. Throughout his career, he played in numerous bands, most notably The Main Attraction, and was known professionally as Bobbykeys. Bob entertained countless audiences with his impressive piano skills, among other instruments, at various events, such as weddings, parties, festivals, and local gigs. He also collaborated with the Len Hawley Band for many years. Music was everything to Bob, and his dedication to his craft touched the lives of many.
Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Monica Neusatz; his parents, Jacob ‘Nick’ and Katherine Neusatz; brother, Steven Neusatz; his mother-in-law, Gloria Paparone; and brother-in-law, AJ Sembiante. He is survived by his sons, Mark (Jackie) Neusatz and Kurt Neusatz; grandchildren, Sophia and Elizabeth; significant other, Barbara Perry; sister-in-law, Mary (Andy) Fazio; father-in-law, Santo Paparone; sisters-in-law, Linda (Hank) Penttila and Christine Sembiante; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at his Funeral Service on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 10:00am at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 635 Wilder Road, Hilton, NY 14468. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Greece Fire Department, 1766 Latta Rd., Rochester, NY 14612, in Bob’s honor.

I will always remember Bob’s smiling face at the organ at St George’s Episcopal Church. He will be missed by many!

Bob played many Italian Night at Holy Ghost Church in Coldwater, NY with Len, after Len’s passing we had him as our guest musician. Had many wonderful times.

I just found out about Bob’s passing. Bob and I were classmates at Eastman, and shared an apartment with another friend during senior year. Bob was my closest friend at Eastman. He was honest and down to earth. We kept up for a number of years after college.
