Eisenberg, Robert Hugh Greece: Sunday, January 1, 2017 at age 70. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Frances, and sister, Judy (Randy) Hauser. Bob was born in Rochester, NY on August 9, 1946 and passed January 1, 2017. Bob is survived by his wife Helen, his two daughters Maryanne and Christina (Mitch); sisters Linda (Don) Williams, Barbara (Carey) Ryan and LeeAnn (Larry) Wentworth, brother Steve (Luz) Eisenberg, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was known for his quick wit, dry humor, and giving heart. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was ‘Proud to be an American.’ Those who knew Bob could attest to the fact that he was a man of few words, loved to play golf, enjoyed being overserved at the Sawgrass Beach Club/Legion, and was a Buffalo Bills and Yankees fan to the end. He worked tirelessly and instilled his hard work ethic into his two daughters. Bob’s values and traditions were the foundation for his relationships with his friends and family; he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Friends may call Saturday (Jan 7th) 10:30-12:30 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Funeral Service will follow calling hours Saturday 12:30 PM in the chapel of the funeral Home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 468, 344 Dorsey Rd., Rochester, NY 14616 in his memory.
