Eisenberg, Robert Hugh Greece: Sunday, January 1, 2017 at age 70. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Frances, and sister, Judy (Randy) Hauser. Bob was born in Rochester, NY on August 9, 1946 and passed January 1, 2017. Bob is survived by his wife Helen, his two daughters Maryanne and Christina (Mitch); sisters Linda (Don) Williams, Barbara (Carey) Ryan and LeeAnn (Larry) Wentworth, brother Steve (Luz) Eisenberg, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was known for his quick wit, dry humor, and giving heart. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was ‘Proud to be an American.’ Those who knew Bob could attest to the fact that he was a man of few words, loved to play golf, enjoyed being overserved at the Sawgrass Beach Club/Legion, and was a Buffalo Bills and Yankees fan to the end. He worked tirelessly and instilled his hard work ethic into his two daughters. Bob’s values and traditions were the foundation for his relationships with his friends and family; he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Friends may call Saturday (Jan 7th) 10:30-12:30 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Funeral Service will follow calling hours Saturday 12:30 PM in the chapel of the funeral Home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post 468, 344 Dorsey Rd., Rochester, NY 14616 in his memory. Bob was the best brother , brother-in-law and friend you could ever ask for. We loved him dearly and will miss him very much. You are in our hearts forever. Rest In Peace Bob. We love you.

So sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I consider it a blessing in my life that I not only knew him, but he came to be a great friend. People come and go in our lives, however Bob was one of of those people who I will never forget It was an honor to know him and call him my friend. . He is truly one of the best people I have ever had the honor of knowing. To Helen, Mary Anne, and Christina, and all of the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Linda and I just found out about Bob’s passing and are saddened beyond words. Will always have great memories from time spent at Captain Cook’s to the many backyard BBQ’s with Helen, Bob and his family. A truly remarkable man and friend. I am a better person having known Bob.
