This terrible disease has taken Bob and millions others. The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at the NYS Veterans Home at Batavia who provided excellent care for him during the past 6 years.
My heart goes out to my friend Bruce and his entire family. Bob was also a direct co-worker of mine when I was just a puppy at work. I look back on those times as ‘lucky for me’ as he had much to teach. I hope that we do pursue and conquer this illness that struck Bob with vigilance.
Jeff and I are very sorry to see this notice about your father. Our hearts go out to you and all your family. We know you were struggling with his illness and hope a cure or at least more effective treatments are found in the near future. All of you are definitely in our prayers. We hope you can find solace, knowing he is with the Lord this holiday season.
Sorry for your loss, as member of Incarnate Word (but presently in FL) I remember Bob Holroyd from his church activities. My husband also passed due to Alzheimer’s Disease, so I know of your many difficulties as it progressed. God Bless you,
