Our hearts are so sad, but the memories of Uncle Bob are vivid and bright. He was quite a guy. When I think of him, I smile. He will be missed. Prayers for the Bob Peers’ immediate family and all family and friends.

He always kidded me about being a pastor. At a Peers family picnic one time I had brought steaks to cook on the grill. When he saw the steaks he said, "Oh wow, you preachers really have it nice!" Without batting an eye I replied, "We saved all year for these steaks Uncle Bob." He broke out in a big grin.

Uncle Bob may have left us but he has left us with an indelible impression upon all of hearts as well. We are so blessed to forever have Uncle Bob’s drawing of Melissa, well-endowed and glowing, along with my favorite compliment from him, “you’re gonna make someone a great wife someday.” Coming from Uncle Bob, seeing how well he conducted himself, how ordered his life was, how well-respected and completely loved he was, this is one of the greatest compliments of my life. Melissa and I will love him immensely and miss him terribly.

Sorry for your loss. Bob was a great man that I had the honor of working with KPFD for any years.

I will always cherish the memories I have of Uncle Bob. I have a beautiful portrait he sent me very shortly after my Grandpa passed away. The note that accompanied it is very dear to me. He will be greatly missed.

To the Family of Bob, So sorry for your loss. Bob was my Lt. for several years at K.P.F.D. Station 2. Several times on the Sunday 3PM to 11PM shift, Bob would bring in a beef roast and cook it up for all those there. What great times we had during those years. R.I.P. Bob
