Kowalski, Robert E. Hudson Florida: Peacefully, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at age 81. Predeceased his wife, Betty Kowalski. Survived by his sons, Alan (Roxanne), David (Tammy), Ken (Avor), Mark (Melody), Bob; step-daughters, Tans (Al) Lombardi, Yvonne Capuano; aunt, Virginia Kucak; grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, Carlie, Kendyl, Teagan, Lauren, Paityn, Heather, Nikki, Joey, Andrew and Amanda; great-granddaughter, Bella; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Robert was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and former bus driver for the Empire Statesman Drum and Bugle Corps. Friends may call Friday (Jan 15th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124, Hudson Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. I’m a cousin whom you’ve never met. Bob was 10 years older than me. When I was young, I sold Christmas cards for extra money. I remember walking up the stairs to their 2nd floor apartment and selling the cards. They always bought from me. I’ll never forget that. I also remember how handsome he was.
