Greece: Sunday, November 9, 2008 at age 90. Predeceased by his wife, Lucille E. Bird. Survived by his sons, Robert K.(Lori) and Gerald R.(Frances)Bird; daughters, Shirley(Thomas)Wilson, Catherine(George)Pawlyk; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII and a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Co. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.

Clouds and Rays form from the sky As I sit here all I want to do is cry Only time will ease this pain I think of all the love you gave Through the years you always cared Grandpa You will be missed Our Family reunions wont be the same, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Father’s Day! I will remember all the good times and bad and now I will even remember the sad I hope you know how much you were loved If I had the chance I would tell you so! Grandpa You will be missed!
