Cleveland TN, previously from Rochester NY, went home to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at age 64, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Bob was predeceased by his parents, William and Beverley Beach, and his brother, William (Bill) Beach. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years and best friend, Aileen Beach, daughters, Tracie Brockman (Neil) and Laura Burkis (Michael), and grandchildren, Bryan, James, Colin and Trevor. Also survived by his sister, Deanna Kelley (Ray), father-in-law, Arthur Massey, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Ruth Beach, Terry Beach, Barb (Phil) Fleming, Gene Massey, Connie (Bob) Braun and Kyle Sullivan, along with many nieces and nephews, lots of extended family and friends, also his little buddy Charlie. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Working as an electrician, he retired from Eastman Kodak after 30 years of service and then worked for McKee Foods in Cleveland, TN until his illness. Bob was a devoted and loving family man, who was happy to just spend time with the people he loved. He also loved taking his many road trips and listening to his oldies music. Bob was called home far too early and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor to know him. Bob’s visitation will be held Monday, April 15th, 5-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 16th, 10 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held privately in Garland Cemetery in Clarkson, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice in his memory.

Bob, Aileen and I all went to high school together. We stood up in each others weddings. Saw each other bring children into the world. I had the privilege of seeing where they retired in Tennessee. A beautiful place with a beautiful view. My heartfelt sympathy to Aileen, Tracy and Laura and the rest of the family and friends.

Time fades and restores but does not erase the memory of good people we have known in our lives. Bob’s love for his family will always be reflected in our prayerful thoughts. I also was a classmate of Bob and Aileen and also had the pleasure of working with Mike. I hope you find comfort from the prayers sent your way. Joyce Heffner
